Last night, at 10 pm, the Ruet-e-Hilal committee dropped a surprise announcement, stating that today was to be the first roza. People had been waiting for quite a while before that to figure out if the moon had been sighted and were all but prepared for Friday to mark the beginning of the holy month. The announcement, however, changed everything.
Breaking: Ramzan Moon (Chand) has been sighted in Pakistan today, first roza will be on 23rd March tomorrow. #Ramadan2023 #رمضان_المبارك #RamadanKareem pic.twitter.com/Dy9uCJ89GL

And thus began a collective breakdown, which obviously resulted in glorious memes.

Some Twitter users, for instance, voiced how the moon was feeling.

And this one was just glad to witness progress.
Didn't see a single post saying "chand kese nazar ata mein tou ghar se bahir nikla hi nahi" and that's what I call progress.
