Pedestrian fatally hit by vehicle

A middle-aged man lost his life while crossing a road in the Mansoorabad area.
According to local sources, the 55-year-old man, who is yet to be identified, was hit by a speeding vehicle while crossing the road at Kashmir Bridge. The accident proved fatal.
Police took custody of the body and transferred it to a mortuary.
The start a search for the heirs of the deceased.
In another accident, Constable Azhar of Nishatabad police station was injured in a road accident.
He was riding his motorcycle near an underpass in the Jhalwala area when a mini-truck hit him. The driver of the speeding vehicle fled the scene, leaving the injured constable lying on the road.
The constable was immediately shifted to Allied Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.
