Several rape case reported

In one of the cases, a woman inadvertently asks for a ride and gets kidnapped and raped

Police are investigating case of a married woman allegedly sold by neighbour and subjected to sexual assault by multiple men.

The victim, who is a resident of 59 GB, reported to the police that she had requested her neighbor Zafar Ali to drop her at her parents' house after having an argument with her husband. However, instead of taking her to her parents' house, Zafar Ali took her to 240 GB on a motorcycle, where he sold her to Muhammad Mohsin. Mohsin then sold Sadia Bibi to Falk Sher and Tufail, who sexually assaulted her.

Additionally, three other cases of sexual assault have been reported. One involves Asher, who allegedly lured a woman to his house under the guise of offering domestic work and then raped her on Jaranwala Road. In another incident, a woman was assaulted by Farzand Ali while alone at home in Chak 610 GB. The third case involves Mazhar, who sexually assaulted a woman who was alone in Dera.

In another incident, a dispute between two brothers and Shahbaz alias Waqas led to a shooting incident at a haveli in 293 Rabb.

According to Naseer Ahmed, a resident of the area, Laal Deen and Akbar had been working at the haveli for 10 to twelve years before the accused opened fire during an argument.

Both brothers sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Allied Hospital for medical assistance. Unfortunately, Laal Deen later succumbed to his injuries. The police have handed over the body to the heirs and have started searching for the named accused.
