IT capabilities showcased in Denmark, Sweden

Delegation comprises of 25 of Pakistan’s top IT companies

The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), in collaboration with the Pakistan Embassy in Copenhagen, has organised the visit of an IT Trade Delegation to Denmark and Sweden from March 6 to March 10, 2023.

The delegation comprises of 25 of Pakistan’s top IT companies from various domains, including artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), blockchain, cybersecurity, digital marketing, fintech, metaverse etc.

Representing Pakistan as a ‘competitive tech destination’, the delegation aims to showcase the capabilities of the companies, highlight the country’s IT export potential and explore new horizons for business growth and collaborations, said a statement.

The delegation is headed by Pakistani Ambassador Ahmad Farooq with PSEB’s Chief Marketing Officer, Amar Makhdoom representing the IT industry.

The delegation visited Digital Hub Denmark and presented their respective company profiles, solutions and customers to company’s CEO, Nicolaj Christensen, and the visiting Denmark IT companies. The Pakistan assignment also visited Copenhagen Fintech where the company’s CEO, Thomas Jensen gave a detailed explanation of the company and how fintech is changing the Nordic landscape.

Pakistan is keen to strengthen its trade relations with Sweden and Denmark.

Like other Nordic countries, Sweden and Denmark encourage an open and moderate trade regime.
