At least five killed in DI Khan truck-container collision
At least five people, including two children, were killed and two others were injured on Sunday as a truck collided with a container near Mughal Kot police station in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).
Rescue 1122 has shifted the bodies to Darazinda Hospital.
As per initial reports, the accident occurred due to the brake failure of the container. The container was reportedly loaded with clothes and the truck with cement.
Last month, at least 25 people were killed as a passenger bus collided with a car on the Karakoram Highway and fell into a ditch near the Shitial area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Upper Kohistan district.

According to the details, the bus was on its way to Rawalpindi from Gilgit.
Eyewitnesses had said that the bus collided with the car because of speeding after which both the vehicles plunged into the ditch.
The area residents had retrieved the bodies and the injured and had shifted them to Chilas Regional Headquarters Hospital where medics had confirmed the death of 25 passengers.
