Contempt of Court: Food Dept secertary summoned

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday summoned the Food Department secretary on a contempt of court petition against him for not making payment of an outstanding amount to a company. The petitioner, Rashid and Sons, contended that the company had supplied tents worth Rs100 million to the Food Department but the department did not make the payment. On Thursday, the petitioner said the department had not paid the money despite a court order.
