Just two days after Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra became victims of a bomb scare, it has now come to light that that two young men broke into Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow, Mannat, in Mumbai on Thursday.
According to ANI, the Mumbai Police said that the two trespassers were caught by the security guards after they had scaled the outside wall to get into King Khan's property. During the police inquiry, the men claimed that they had come from Gujarat and eagerly wanted to meet the Jawan star.
The men were also aged between 20 and 22. A case of trespassing and other relevant offences was registered against them under the Indian Penal Code (IPC), while further investigation is still underway, as per the publication.
After receiving a bomb threat in January 2022, the renowned film star took steps to secure his popular residence in Mumbai. Last year, Mannat got a new entrance gate with an LED nameplate that is illuminated after dark. However, the house remains a well-known spot for Khan's fans, who go there to click pictures.
On many occasions, Khan has also used the residence to greet fans. Prior to his blockbuster hit film Pathaan's release, on January 22, 2023, the Dilwale actor stepped out of his Mumbai home and surprised thousands of fans who gathered outside Mannat.
Taking to Twitter, he also shared a clip from the night he stood on the balcony and welcomed his fans. "Thank you for a lovely Sunday evening. Book your tickets for Pathaan and I will see you there next," he said.
