As per the publication, the anonymous call reached the Nagpur-based control room of ERSS and the information was then communicated to the Mumbai Police as the three locations mentioned are also in Mumbai.

Soon, an investigation was also carried out, which revealed that the primary suspect was also based in Mumbai and that the Mumbai Police currently tracking him.

It was also reported that the Mumbai Police had also alerted local police in Juhu, Vile-Parle and Gamdevi, whose jurisdiction the residences of the two veterans and the industrialist fall under. Sources also mentioned that teams from the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) will check the area around the three victims' homes for anything that looks suspicious. “Meanwhile teams are also working to identify the caller and trace him,” said a police officer.

According to the outlet, the team includes 55 personnel, including over 10 police and commandos from the National Security Guard.

This is also not the first time a Bollywood celebrity has been the target of a bomb scare. The detainee also called Mumbai police and made the threat, reported Times of India.
