FAISALABAD:
An addict strangled his wife and threw her body in the canal on Friday. According to police officials, Ejaz murdered his wife Shumaila after she refused to give him money to buy heroin. Shumaila’s relatives alleged that she was killed by Eajz with the help of his family. They said that Shumaila had been strangled with her own dupatta.
Police officials have registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s brother Sikandar under Section 302 of the PPC and have sent the body for an autopsy.
