Ushna Shah gets married to her ‘royal prince’ in a daytime nikah ceremony

Actor also gave a shutup call to fans who had issues with her bridal dress

Ten days ago, Fahad Mustafa announced Ushna Shah’s wedding date on TV and now she’s married! The actor tied the knot with beau Hamza Amin in a daytime nikah ceremony in Karachi with her family and friends in attendance. Clad in a gorgeous red number with heavy silver embellishments, Ushna made a beautiful bride.

However, blood red for a day event didn’t sit well with people on the internet when pictures from Ushna’s wedding came out. Many also took issue with the Habs actor’s belly showing. The starlet, albeit, had a perfect reply for all trolls and that was to mind their own business.

On Sunday night, a few hours after her wedding, she took to Instagram with a picture of her henna-ridden hands flashing an engagement ring, to write, “(I’m) Mrs. Amin. To those who have a problem with my dress, you weren’t invited, nor did you pay for the shade of my red. My jewellery and my jora (are) purely Pakistani. My heart, however, is half Austrian.” She concluded with a little prayer for her happy married life.

The Parizaad actor also posted a video with highlights from her wedding day to update her fans with the biggest life update. “Married to my nainon wala Maharaja (dreamy prince). I love you, husband,” she captioned the post. “So grateful to our friends and family for flying in from all over the world. My sister Maha and my friends were my tribes in putting this together.”

Ushna opted for a traditional bridal look by Wardha Saleem and the accessories paired with her regal lehenga choli brought all the bling. She wore an embroidered belly belt of the same colour as her dress and a golden matha patti to go with. Her heavy Kundan jewellery, some bangles and a sleek bun was coupled with a classic scarlet pout to complete the look. Her husband Hamza looked suave in an ivory and gold jamawar sherwani with gold details and a qula with a red tiny heart sprinted on it.

Contrasting with the bride, all the celebrities in attendance opted for pastel colours. The girls all wore saris while the men looked dapper in their suits and sherwanis. From Zara Noor Abbas, Asad Siddiqui to Sajal and Saboor Aly and Iqra Aziz, Yasir Hussain, Shah’s wedding was full of stars. Sajal wore a floral printed saree and kept her long tresses open with a red pout. The Mom actor was spotted posing with her favourite designer, Nomi Ansari.

Iqra and Yasir posed for the camera twinning in pearly whites for the daytime event. Iqra kept her hair open and her makeup minimal with rosy cheeks and a peachy pout. Yasir, on the other hand, brought some fun to his white suit with a printed blue funky shirt inside.

Saboor wore a pastel peach sari with silver embellishments while her husband wore a white shalwar kameez with a printed brown coat. The couple looked gorgeous together.

Zara Noor in a dreamy pastel pink sari posed against a flower arch with her husband Asad. Matching with the minimal floral embroidery on her sari, she wore heavy pink and green earrings.

Earlier in December, Ushna announced her engagement with Hamza. Sharing a carousel of pictures on Instagram, she wrote, "Meet my missing puzzle piece, Hamza Amin." And two months later, her wedding festivities began with a mehendi and haldi ceremony and concluded last night with a day time nikkah. We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness.
