PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Environment Minister Wajid Ali Khan has expressed concern over loadshedding and low voltage in the Swat District, especially in Mingora. He said that loadshedding has made the lives of people miserable.

He was talking to Pesco Chief Executive Mohammad Wali at his office in Peshawar on Friday. The minister said tube wells were closed due to low voltages, which create scarcity of water in the city.

The chief executive assured the minister that the problem of excessive power outage and low voltage would be resolved soon after the Eid.

He said that a heavy transformer has already been provided to Mingora Grid Station, which would be installed soon after Eid-ul-Fitr. He added that another grid station would be established at Bari Kot.
