'Absolutely fine': Miandad quashes rumours about health
Amid rumours about his health on national and social media, former Pakistan Test captain and legendary batsman Javed Miandad on Friday dismissed all such rumours, saying that he's absolutely fine.
As per some media reports, Miandad was "seriously ill" and was under observation at a private hospital in Karachi. However, the former cricketer has denied all such reports.
"I have heard that this news [about my health] has surfaced everywhere. I want to let everyone know there's nothing like that," he said in a video message.
Miandad said that he only came to the hospital for his regular check-up. "I had a minor headache so I came for the check-up. Everything is fine and there is nothing to worry about," he added.

He said that everyone comes to the hospital for a regular check-up so there was nothing unusual about his visit. "But I came to know here that everyone including my fans, friends and family are worried about me," he said.
The former captain further said that he will be discharged from the hospital shortly.
