Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Haleem Adil Sheikh has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has enslaved the Pakistani nation and only the judiciary can free it from this servitude.
While speaking to media-persons after appearing in a Malir court on Wednesday, Sheikh further stated that he has been facing this case for the last two years. “We, including our party Chairman Imran Khan, have been facing courts, while the 13 mafia parties are getting clean chits in all corruption cases against them,” he said.
Sheikh said that Shaukat Tarin, who was finance minister in the PTI government, has been booked in a fabricated case. “Twenty-eight cases have been framed against me,” he added.
The PTI leader said that inflation has tripled since the “imported government” took office in April 2022.
