Model Zara Peerzada tied the knot with Sarwan Saleh in an intimate nikkah ceremony on Saturday.
Taking to Instagram, the starlet shared a few pictures from her big day alongside a heartfelt caption to relay her sentiments about the occasion. "Yesterday was a bit weird, but I’m grateful it was with you like I am for all the other days good, bad and bizarre,'' she began.
She then went on to thank the wedding photographers for making the event a much better experience. "Thank you, Naveed Amjad and Wajeehawasti for the gift of this shoot for us. It was perfect. Starting the day with both of you just made us feel like ourselves," expressed Peerzada.
The model also tagged Hussain Rehar for designing the heavily embellished wedding dress for her. "Thank you all for the love and prayers!" concluded Peerzada.
In the pictures shared online, Peerzada is seen sporting a stunning gold ensemble, with a heavily embellished dupatta on top. For her makeup look, she paired her look with a bold red lip and thick lashes. On the other hand, Saleh wore a blue sherwani for the ceremony and paired it with a printed shawl.
For the reception, Peerzada chose a lehenga choli with floral tilla and gota work on legenga and dupatta. She also revealed that the lehenga was hand painted by her mother, while Farheen Raza designed the whole outfit. She also rounded off her look with traditional kundun jewellery and a pink pout. Amongst all her fashionable looks for the wedding festivities, her double-braid floral hairdo caught our eye.
Model-cum-actor Eman Suleman, Rubab Ali, Hashim Ali and many more were among the attendees of the close-knit event.
Prior to this, the model announced her engagement in November 2022 with a heartwarming note for her then-fiance. "I am very self-conscious about sharing my personal life and even more so about sharing public adoration - but I adore you Sarwan Saleh. Thank you for being the most gentle, loving partner who bears all my neurosis with grace and understanding," read the post on her Instagram handle.
