Entertainment Desk February 07, 2023

The artist lineup for this year's PSL anthem has been announced and you best believe we are anxiously waiting for the song! The yet-to-be-released track will be sung by Faris Shafi, Shae Gill and Asim Azhar while Abdullah Siddiqui will produce the number.

This will be the second time Siddiqui will produce the official PSL anthem after last year's Aagay Dekh featuring Atif Aslam and Aima Baig.

Last year's anthem, Agay Dekh, was stellar production with Aslam delivering the kind of performance expected from a singer of his stature after a long time.

It hits the mark when it comes to getting people on their feet to dance; however, it lacks the grandeur of an anthem, such as that which was present in Siddiqui’s previous Zalmi offering, Kingdom. But despite its shortcomings, the track truly shines as a pop song and has the aggression the previous PSL anthem, Groove Mera, lacked.

HBL Pakistan Super League 8 will be played across four venues from 13 February to 19 March. The Multan and Karachi-leg matches will be held from 13-26 February, before action shifts to Lahore and Rawalpindi where 20 matches will be played from 26 February to 19 March.
