The next big fat Bollywood wedding on our list is that of actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. The couple, who fell in love with each other on the sets of their hit film Shershaah, are ready to make things official this weekend – and that too in royalty.
While the duo remains tight-lipped about their much-awaited wedding and romance, the details about their big day have taken the internet by storm. Reportedly, the love birds will get married at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace – and there’s more from where that came from. From the menu to the venue to pre-wedding events and outfits, here's everything you need to know about their wedding.
According to Pinkvilla, the couple reached Jaisalmer today and will begin a series of intimate but elaborate pre-wedding festivities from Monday, including a sangeet, mehendi and haldi. The publication stated that the functions will take place on February 4 and February 5.
About their outfits, the love birds were spotted outside ace designer Manish Malhotra’s house earlier. Their joint appearance sparked fuel to their wedding rumours. According to India Today, Kiara will be wearing a red lehenga while Sidharth will don an off-white sherwani with a red shafa.
The publication also hinted at the guest list for Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding. Since it is a low-key wedding with close friends and family members, the couple has invited very few people from the industry. It was reported that Kiara invited her Kabir Singh co-star Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput. Celebs including Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Ashvini Yardi have also been invited to the wedding.
According to Banglore Times, Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding menu will include a lavish spread of Continental and Indian food, along with Rajasthani delicacies like bajre ki roti and bajre ka soyta.
Since it is an intimate destination wedding, the couple has decided to host two receptions after they tie the knot on February 6. The first reception will reportedly take place in Delhi and the second one will be held in Mumbai for the film fraternity. Like1:58 pm
