KARACHI:

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQMP) has decided to contest the by-elections to be held in March.

Anees Qaimkhani and Waseem Akhtar chaired a meeting of the Rabita Committee, the Central Executive Committee and Election Cell in this regard.

They instructed party officials to open offices in targeted constituencies and start campaigning.

Election cells would be established, while CEC officials would do outreach with the communication committee supporting all sectors.

Sources said that Qaimkhani and Akhtar will oversee the campaign while Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, senior leaders Farooq Sattar, Mustafa Kamal, Khawaja Izhar and other leaders will participate in the public relations campaign and corner meeting.
