Security forces kill terrorist in North Waziristan IBO
The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Saturday in general area of Mir Ali in the North Waziristan district, killing a terrorist involved in activities against forces and civilians, the military said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between the troops and terrorists.
"Resultantly, one terrorist got killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist," it added.
The military's media wing said that the killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent citizens.

Earlier in the day, intelligence agencies saved the country from a major disaster as they busted a large network of terrorists and suicide bombers.
Sources said security forces also recovered Afghan mobile SIM cards, drugs and foreign currency from the terrorists’ possession.
Earlier this month, at least 11 terrorists, including a militant commander and two suicide bombers, were killed in an IBO in South Waziristan’s Wana, according to the military’s media affairs wing.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, security forces “successfully foiled a high-profile terrorist activity” during the operation.
“During intense exchange of fire, 11 terrorists, including terrorist commander Hafizullah alias Tor Hafiz and two suicide bombers, were killed,” the ISPR said.
The statement added that a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists.
