Ex-UC chairman held over drug charges

Accused arrested on directions of City Police Officer, who alleged they would sell drugs at educational institutions

People’s Colony Police arrested eight accused, including the former UC chairman and two women, over allegedly selling narcotics to educational institutions. Police seized hashish, ice and opium from their possession and cases were registered against them.

SHO People’s Colony Sub-Inspector Zeeshan Khalid Randhawa and ASI Muhammad Ali apprehended Former UC Chairman Muhammad Amjad and his accomplices.

The accused were arrested on the directions of the City Police Officer, who alleged that they would sell drugs at educational institutions.
