Meta's Messenger app will now enable users to choose custom emojis, reactions, group profile photos, and much more.
Previously, as soon as you switched to an encrypted chat, all customization options disappeared, leaving the users with a plain white background.
Users can now set themes, have a full range of emoji reactions to make their conversations look less boring, customise the quick reaction tray, set group profile photos, and view active status icons and link previews.
Android users can click on the“bubbles” feature that gives quick access to active conversations.
Meta is now expanding the default mode tests to a larger audience soon.
End-to-end encryptions protect the data from the third party. WhatsApp already has the feature by default, whereas Instagram lets people switch it for individual conversations.
