Airport security, Pakistan-style

This is with reference to Naveen Naqvi’s “Airport security, Pakistan style” (June 25). I belong to a family of frequent flyers and go to Jinnah International Airport at least once a week. The personnel on duty have always been courteous and not like the ones described by the writer. The standard procedure of checking the car is not new.  Usually you are stopped at the checkpoint and asked to unlock your vehicle. The door is opened with a smile and usual glances are made at the dashboard and all. Out of my numerous visits I was requested to get out of the car and body searched just one time.
