After Fahad Mirza took to social media to call out Feroze Khan for publicly sharing personal details of actors mentioned in his recently served defamation suit, actor Yasir Hussain has now also lashed out at a 'stupid man' for the same.
Taking to Instagram, Hussain shared a series of snapshots explaining the ordeal he has to face after Khan previously shared and later deleted his number on his official Twitter handle.
"A stupid man first hits his wife and then publicly shares our numbers online. Now, due to this, a child has been constantly messaging me to cast him in dramas, otherwise, he's threatening me to give him Rs100,000," detailed the Badshah Begum star, while further asking his followers for advice, "Please tell me, what should I do?"
In a separate Instagram Story, Hussain also shared a screenshot of the aforementioned threats with a message. He said, "This person has sent me his personal number, yet I won't publicise it. Do you know why? Because I went to school and that should count for something. It should show that you are educated. Shame on you, stupid man."
Later, addressing Khan, the Aik Thi Laila director then took a dig at the actor. "Thank you Feroze Khan, you have sent a Falak Shabbir fan to me too! May God reward you for these actions. Can I also make your fans meet you too?"
Hussain also posted a star-studded photo on the photo-sharing app which featured several popular celebrities. "A day before my number was leaked! It's surprising that the superstar didn't mention his own wife's name, but shared every other women's details online," read the caption.
As more actors came forward with their statements, Sarwat Gilani also shared her two cents to highlight the harmful impact of making one's private details public. Taking to Instagram, she posted a picture full of countless spam calls from different unknown numbers.
"It is bizarre and despicable that private information, including phone numbers of various famous individuals has been publicly shared on the absurd pretext of issuing a legal notice to them by Feroze Khan. Not only are such actions clearly illegal but also demonstrate the total lack of maturity to handle matters in a civilised way," expressed the Churails star.
Gilani then concluded her post with a witty remark. She said, "Two days ago, Feroze had one ex wife and her lawyer, now he will have to face ten celebrities and their lawyers. Good luck!"
It's pertinent to note that Khan on Tuesday served defamation notices to several artists for [levelling] false and baseless allegations against the actor. The Tich Button actor first shared the legal document on his official Twitter handle that included addresses and personal contact numbers.
However, he later deleted the said notice from social media and instead wrote, "Defamation legal notice has been served by my legal team to those for [sharing] false and baseless allegations." The notice, unfortunately, went viral by the time he removed it from his official Twitter account with an impressive following of almost 442,000 followers.
