Miscreants burn election camps

Unidentified persons engage in arson during local body elections

KARACHI:

Unidentified goons set election camps on fire that the political parties established on Sunday during local body elections in different Karachi city areas.

According to the details, the unidentified goons burnt polling camps in Saudabad, Malir Liaquat Market, Juma Bazaar, Malir City, Alimabad, Landhi 1 Number and Korangi Bengali Para.

They burnt tables, chairs and tents into ashes.

After receiving the news of the incidents, the workers of the political parties reached the spots and expressed their anger over the incidents.

The police team reached the spot and controlled the situation, but the case remains under investigation.
