After Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabia-based football club, his life has been nothing but a dream. It was previously revealed that the Portugal star signed a contract that will reportedly make him an annual income of £173 million, and now reports suggest that the superstar is set to stay in a lavish hotel suite until his new house in the country is fully furnished.
According to Daily Mail, the lauded footballer is staying at the Kingdom Tower, which is considered one of the tallest buildings in Saudi Arabia and also the property of the Four Seasons Hotel. Ronaldo has been reportedly residing in the Kingdom Suite, the most extravagant of them all.
The aforementioned publication also reported that Ronaldo has a reservation in the grand suite for at least a month, which is estimated to cost the government approximately £250,000.
The hotel's official website states that the Kingdom Suite "entertains guests with unparalleled views of Riyadh." It adds that the suite has a total of 17 rooms, each comprised of various deluxe features. "Our two-storey suite spans the 48th and 50th floors of the hotel, with a soaring living room, a private office, a dining room and a media room."
But the extravagance doesn't stop here. Daily Mail shared that the five-star hotel will also serve Ronaldo scrumptious dishes with the freshest ingredients from China, Japan, India, and the Middle East. And due to his high status as an athlete, the chefs at the hotel are expected to provide him with top-notch services and meals delivered directly to his doorstep.
The Four Seasons Hotel is also located at an ideal spot with high-end stores like Louis Vuitton, tennis courts, massages, and a spa with a sauna on the property. To make the Portugal star feel more at home, the staff at the hotel are also strictly prohibited to ask Ronaldo for selfies or disturb him in any manner.
In an interview, the former Manchester United player revealed he was excited to shift to the Middle East to start his new football career. “I’m so proud to make this big decision in my life. In Europe, my work is done. I won everything and played for the most important clubs in Europe. This is a new challenge,” said Ronaldo.
Ronaldo then talked about his ambition to keep playing the game. He expressed, “I’m a unique player. I want to beat a few records here. I really don’t worry about what people say. I am happy to be here. I know the league is very competitive, I saw many games. I’m ready to keep playing football.”
