KARACHI:

An Additional District and Sessions Judge has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against two accused for their failure to appear before the court in a case pertaining to the alleged suicide of Dr Maha Shah.

Two accused Junaid and Waqas appeared before the Additional District and Sessions Judge who took up the case on Tuesday in Karachi City Courts. But the judge issued non-bailable arrest warrants for another two accused for not appearing before the court.

The court ordered the arrest of the accused Saad Nasir and Tabish, directing police to present them before court on January 14.  Dr Maha had committed suicide by shooting herself with a 9mm pistol in her house in Defence Housing Authority on August 18, 2020.
