The official trailer for You Season 4 is finally here and unlike the previous seasons, this time there’s someone troubling our favourite stalker, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). While Joe stalks his love interest, Marianne, the clip sees another murderer with his/her sight set on London – and particularly on Joe.

Assuming another alias, Joe will now return as a literature professor named Jonathan Moore at a London university. He is surprised to find that he enjoys teaching, despite being surrounded by narcissistic socialites. But when members of London’s wealthy elite start dropping dead like flies, the murderer-turned-professor discovers that there might be another killer in his midst.

From cryptic messages to a panicked professor, a killer is set on a mission to Eat the Rich. However, it's safe to assume that the said killer in season 4 certainly won’t let Joe rebuild his life. With two psychopaths in the frame now, one can only expect the terror and murder plan to be in the process.

The trailer confirms the reprisal of Tati Gabrielle, with platinum blonde hair now, as Marianne Bellamy in the new season. In the final episode of Season 3, Marienne fled the country after discovering the truth about Joe’s heinous crimes. “Did you break my heart, Marianne?” Joe’s ominous voice narrates in the background as we get a first look at Gabrielle. “Heartbreak is always a catalyst for a new path,” he continues.

For all we know, Joe’s heartbreak led him to Paris in search of his love but as the trailer shows, the criminal mastermind is a professor in London being stalked. Perhaps this season we’ll see the tables turned with Joe trapped the way he’s trapped others before. Netflix earlier announced that You 4 will be released in two parts; Part 1 will be released on February 9 and Part 2 debuts on March 9. We can’t wait already!

The psychological thriller series is based on the novel of the same name by Caroline Kepnes and invites viewers into Joe’s grossly perturbed mind as a blue-collar worker by day and serial killer by night. Being a romanticist at heart, Joe frequently falls in love with women he meets, but to a point of violent, often deadly, obsession.
