TikTok adds video-scrubbing thumbnails to aid streaming experience
TikTok has added a video-scrubbing feature that makes it easier for users to find specific parts of a longer video.
The feature was spotted by social media Analyst Matt Navarra and isn't yet available to everyone and only applies to new video uploads.

The video-scrubbing thumbnail will enable users to see exactly what they want to and which part they wish to watch, instead of blindly scrubbing the entire video, Tech Crunch reported.
Such a feature was expected to emerge as TikTok is slowly inching into YouTube's territory, which has had video-scrubbing thumbnails much before.
Just recently, TikTok also increased the video uploading limit by up to 10 minutes, which has improved the viewer experience.
The platform also tested a horizontal full-screen mode with select users last month.
