Party president designates Maryam as PML-N 'Chief Organiser', tasks her with 're-organising' party

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) representative Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday announced that senior leader Maryam Nawaz has been appointed as the party's senior vice president.

Sharing the notification, Marriyum said that the decision was approved by PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif.

According to the notification issued, Shehbaz has also appointed Maryam as the party's "Chief Organiser" and has tasked her with the "restructuring" and "reorganisation" of the party at "all levels".

It may be noted that there was a discrepancy in the notification where the signed copy had initially been dated January 2, 2022, and was later corrected manually to 2023 in the notification shared by Marriyum.
