Renowned journalist and Editor of daily Jang Mudassir Mirza passed away after brief illness. Funeral prayer for the departed soul will be held after Zohr at Masjid Bait-ul-Mukarram, Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Sunday.
He will be laid to rest in Sakhi Hasan graveyard. Journalists and unions have expressed deep sorrow on the sudden death of seasoned journalist. PFUJ (Dastoori) office bearers Haji Muhammad Nawaz Raza, Secretary General AH Khanzada and members of the Majlis-e-Aamila have called the death of senior journalist a great loss to the journalism.
In a condolence message, the leaders of PFUJ said that an era of responsible and principled journalism has ended with the death of Mudassir Mirza. The journalism fraternity has also lost a thoughtful and dedicated person. The PFUJ leaders prayed may Allah rest the departed soul in peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
