JARANWALA:

Four people, including a couple, suffered severe burn injuries when a gas cylinder removed from a rickshaw exploded during cooking in a house in Sultan Town on Friday.

The victims were trying to use the cylinder for cooking because of gas shortage in their area.

The incident took place near Narrwala Road. A rickshaw driver, Muzaffar Iqbal, aged 40, had removed the cylinder from his vehicle for cooking because of unavailability of gas supply.
