Hazara citizens to be facilitated by new irrigation circle

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Irrigation Minister Arshad Ayub Khan has said that the establishment of Hazara circle irrigation department will solve the long-standing problems of Hazara people while irrigation related problems of millions of people will be solved at their doorsteps.

The establishment of Hazara circle was possible due to the keen interest and guidance of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. Hazara irrigation circle was a major demand of the people for a very long time and with the creation of the new circle people of Hazara division will get benefits in term of agriculture and job opportunities.

The step has been widely appreciated by all spheres of life. The minister stressed that irrigation channels and works will greatly enhance the livelihood of the people and improve the existing watercourses.

On the directives of Minister Arshad Ayub Khan, the irrigation department has approved the establishment of the new Hazara circle. In this regard, the department has issued a formal notification. In this way, the creation of one new irrigation division and two irrigation subdivisions in Hazara division has also been approved. The new circle will have a sub-engineer posted in Abbottabad with the requisite staff. Haripur will have two sub-divisions Tarnawa and Seri Saleh.
