Moroccan star player Achraf Hakimi's wife is a famous Spanish actor

Madrid-born Achraf Hakimi and Arab actor Hiba Abouk tied the knot in 2020

Moroccan's ace football player Achraf Hakimi has been one of the standout players at the Fifa World Cup this year. He is recognised as one of the top right-backs due to his impeccable speed and goal-scoring prowess. While his performance has caught the attention of fans from all around the Arab world and beyond, his stunning wife-actor Hiba Abouk has also been grabbing eyeballs of late.

Born in Madrid, Abouk is a Spanish actor of Tunisian and Libyan descent. From her debut in El Príncipe, a crime drama series to her mysterious role in the short film Manos libre, she has built a successful acting career. But Abouk's life got more interesting when she met the love of her life, Hakimi, in 2018 while he was playing in Germany.

The two instantly hit it off and eventually tied the knot in 2020, after two years of dating. They are now parents to two young boys, Naim and Amin, and reside in their lavish abode in Paris.

Even though Hakimi's brunette wife was already an established actor before they met, the pair's romance and respective careers only blossomed further through the mutual sentiment of admiration and respect they have for one another.

Although the couple has maintained a low-profile, the sudden fame seems to have created challenges in their path to living a normal life, with the shutterbugs capturing their pictures wherever they go.

In October, the duo appeared on the cover of Vogue Arabia and highlighted the downsides to becoming more known to the world. "We don't enjoy the city like before," Abouk admitted. "We have to know where we go, at what time, to be careful that there's not too [many] people and everything."
