The Health Services Academy (HSA) has joined hands with a US-based nonprofit organisation to enhance the expertise of healthcare professionals and medical students.
According to a statement, HSA Vice Chancellor Dr Shahzad Ali Khan and Rahmat Foundation Chairman Dr Ghulam Qadir signed the MoU.
Pakistan Medical Association Islamabad General Secretary Dr Mubasher Mushtaq Daha, who is also a key stakeholder and Talim Foundation Chairman Dr Zafar Iqbal among others were present on the occasion.
As per the MoU, both organisations will support each other in the field of medicine and training of medical professionals and students.
Moreover, the promotion of overall cooperation between the two organisations is also part of the agenda, the statement stated.
It further said the Rehmat Foundation will provide support in establishing contacts with various medical universities in the US.
