Armed men injure three on resistance

KARACHI:

Armed men opened fire on a youth on his resistance during a robbery bid near Essa Nagri within the jurisdiction of Aziz Bhatti police station.

The injured youth, identified as 16-year-old M Ramzan s/o Arshad Zmaan, was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital.

Meanwhile, 40-year-old Zarbat Shah was injured when armed suspects wearing some uniform, tried to enter his in Sohrab Goth area by scaling the wall, opened fire on him when he challenged them and asked for their identity.

The injured was first shifted to Dow Hospital, but later on the basis of his condition he was rushed to the Civil Hospital.

The injured man claimed that the suspects looted cash and valuables from the house.

According to the police, the details of the incident would come to the fore after the injured citizen’s condition improves and he gives a detailed statement.

In another incident, armed suspects riding a motorcycle opened fire on a man on his resistance in Sharafi goth area. The man was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where he was identified as 38-year-old Safeer Ahmed.
