Sher Zaman says Rehman's appointment 'unacceptable'

KARACHI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Leader in the Sindh Assembly Khurrum Sher Zaman on Thursday condemned the appointment of Dr Saifur Rehman as Karachi Administrator by the Sindh government as pre-poll rigging.

Sher Zaman stated that this appointment is unacceptable to PTI at any cost and also pointed out that a few days back, the PPP spokesperson gave a statement that their meetings with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) were almost complete and they would be appointing a Karachi Administrator on the wishes of MQM-P.

PTI’s main objection to this appointment is blatant pre-poll rigging and a fixed match between PPP and MQM-P. It’s obvious by appointing Dr Rehman as Karachi Administrator, both parties are expecting him to accommodate them during the entire election process.
