A youth died when his car flipped over while negotiating the turn from Korangi Road to Sunset Boulevard Monday.
Mubasher Awan, 20, a resident of 100-feet Road in Azam Basti was allegedly driving his car at breakneck speed lost control of the vehicle when making the turn on Defence Mor and it flipped over hitting the wall of a building on the roadside.
The police reached the area and shifted his dead body to the Jinnah Hospital through volunteers of Chipa.
Separately, a family riding a motorcycle was ran over by a speeding truck in F B Industrial Area. Muhammad Naeem, 45, died on the spot while his wife Farhana, 36, and two sons Hussain, five, Hunain, seven, were injured.
The body and injured person were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed hospital through Chippa ambulance.
SHO Federal B Industrial area Sub Inspector M Sarfaraz said that we gathered some information from people on the spot at that time. Still, they not cooperated and said that we didn't know how the accident happened. Initially, the investigation said that truck hit the bike. The police are checking the CCTV for more information and details regarding the truck.
