Police recovered one TT pistol with ammunition, mobile phones, cash and two stolen from the arrested accused

Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell(AVLC), Orangi Town and Docks Police arrested eight suspects, including three injured and recovered weapons, motorcycles, and other stolen items during alleged encounters and operations.

According to the details, the police party of the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell arrested four suspects during an alleged encounter at the rickshaw stand near Nizamuddin Road Jinnah Park of Brigade Police Station at around 4 o'clock in the night between Saturday and Sunday. The injured suspect was taken to Civil Hospital in police custody.

According to the Karachi Police spokesperson, the injured suspect was identified as 27-year-old Kora Khan, son of Allah Waria. Other accused include Syed Jawad, son of Syed Sohail, Mashuq, son of Jangi Khan and Asif, son of Hanif.

Police recovered one TT pistol with ammunition, mobile phones, cash and two stolen from the arrested accused.

ASI Ramzan of AVLC said that the arrested accused are hardened criminals who stole motorcycles from Karachi, took them to different areas of Balochistan, and sold them. They have been arrested and jailed several times before.

After registering a case against the arrested accused, the accused were handed over to the police party of the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell for investigation.

Orangi Town Police arrested two accused with injuries after an alleged encounter near MPR Colony Siddique Akbar Masjid.
