The family immediately reported the incident to the police. A police investigation party immediately started a probe and collected video footage from the CCTV cameras installed in the area, according to SHO Khan.
While reviewing the footage, police spotted a woman walking away with a child before picking her up in her lap and entering a nearby street.
SHO Khan further said that the woman in the footage was identified as Shaista, a maid at a house in the area.
