WAZIRISTAN:

In yet another incident of terrorism, three jewellers from Bannu were brutally put to death in Mir Ali Bazaar, North Waziristan tribal district late on Monday night. Police told The Express Tribune that all the three hailed from Bannu who had a jewellery shop in Mir Ali and unidentified armed men entered their shop in the night and took them away.

“They were taken away at gunpoint and then shot dead in the fields. Their bodies were found next morning by locals who informed police about it,” said an official of police, adding that their shop was located in the middle of the main bazaar and they usually slept inside the shop.

The unfortunate men have been identified as Rehmatullah, Haroon and Dildar, residents of different parts of Bannu.

“The attackers had left the name and address of one of the deceased on his chest,” he said, adding that the bodies were shifted to local hospital for autopsy and police informed their families.
