A visually-impaired 8th grade student was reportedly sexually assaulted by a school teacher and watchman. Upon the complaint of the victim’s father, police registered a case against both accused and arrested them.
The victim was shifted to hospital for medical treatment. According to the victim’s father Khurshid, his two daughters are blind and are studying in a special education school. His eldest daughter was an 8th grade student and while is younger daughter is a 6th grade student.
The eldest daughter has reportedly been raped several times by the school’s music teacher, Kamran and watchman, Safdar. The two accused continually threatened the girl that if she told anyone, they would expel her from the school, due to which the girl continued to be abused by these accused.
The girl broke her silence and informed her parents about the whole incident, upon which, the girl’s father Khurshid demanded DPO Furqan Bilal arrest the accused and severely punish them. The DPO issued an action order to City Dipalpur Police against the accused.
City Dipalpur police booked Kamran and Safdar and arrested them, while the victim was shifted to hospital for medical treatment. DPO Furqan Bilal said that justice will be provided to the victim at any cost. If during the investigation it is proved that the accused committed rape, they will definitely be punished. Khurshid thanked DPO Furqan Bilal for taking immediate action.
