KARACHI:

A myriad of Hollywood stars put their best looks on display at the American Music Awards 2022. Most of their outfits had one thing in common: bling, bling and more bling! While some ladies opted for structured silhouettes, others went for asymmetrical cuts. In a nutshell, the evening witnessed it all! From Anitta to Ellie Goulding, here are three looks that topped our best dressed list.

Anitta

The Brazilian singer was a sight for sore eyes on the black carpet. The artist put her best foot forward in a structured monochrome dress. The black-and-white custom Mugler gown accentuated her curves and featured peekaboo panels at the back. The white bodice and black sequined mermaid bottom were separated by a mesh lining at the centre, providing for a sultry yet stunning look. She teamed the look with Tiffany & Co jewellery.

Pink

Pink walked the carpet with her family wearing a black and gold fringe vintage number that she said on Instagram was borrowed from Bob Mackie and Cher. The sequined mini-dress boasted of a thigh-baring slit and zig-zag lightning down the front. The fringe effect added the oomph factor to the outfit. Sticking to the bling, Pink opted for black high heels, encrusted with silver stones. She went for oversized silver hoops and muted makeup.

Ellie Goulding

Ellie looked like a million bucks in this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini design featuring a crop top, mini skirt and deconstructed sleeves. Her top had one shoulder and one halter neck panel with matching detached sleeves and a choker, while the bottom half was simple. The silver number was ornamented with diamante stones. To accessorise, Ellie wore silver rings, diamond drop earrings and hoops. The 35-year-old singer added a silver dot below each eye to add even more sparkle.
