After being presented with the Most Popular Face of Pakistani Cinema award, Sajal thanked "Sir Humayun Saeed" for giving her the opportunity to venture into acting and believing in her.

When asked what other city of the world would she be willing to settle in, aside from Pakistan, the Mom actor replied, "Why can't it be in India? It can be in Bhaarat too, I mean, Dubai as well. But this is the kind of event that brings us face to face with people like Jahnvi, Govinda sir is here, Ranveer. So, we finally get the opportunity to mingle with people who may be distant from our country but very close to our hearts."

Following the ceremony, Sajal updated a photo with Ranveer Singh on her Instagram. "Ufff, Ranveer!" she captioned it. Ranveer took home Superstar of the Decade Award. Fahad Mustafa was also spotted embracing Ranveer as the two bonded.

Fahad was presented with the Promising Star of Pakistan award. In his award acceptance speech, Fahad confessed that he started acting because of Govinda. Addressing the legendary Bollywood actor, Fahad shared, "Sir, we are your fans. And I started acting because of you. Aur hume Pakistan mein aesa lagta tha ki jo bhi acting karni hai woh aapke jaese karni hai. Phir Ranveer agaye, phir (Sir, we are your fans. We think in Pakistan that whatever acting has to be done, should be done like yours). Then Ranveer (Singh) came, and then.. (laughing)."

He added, "But I think sir we are your biggest fans and will always stay your biggest fans. It's a stroke of good luck that I am standing on the same stage where you were. Once again a huge round of applause for Govinda sir, because this is unreal...I hope Pakistan and India once again work together. I hope we get to see each other's films." Fahad was also seen rushing from the stage to touch Govinda's feet, as spotted by Indian outlets.

Humayun Saeed, on the other hand, took home the honour for the Trendsetter of Pakistani Cinema. In his award receiving speech, he said, "Good evening Dubai. Thank you for this honour. I've been working for 25 years now and it's a big deal that you've all been tolerating me for so long. It is your love and of course, my wife -- I only have one wife since 25 years now too -- so it's her love and prayers that have kept me going as well."

In a hilarious exchange with Bharti Singh, Humayun was asked why he made London Nahi Jaunga. "Sir I looked you up and came across this film of yours. Why did you not want to go to London? Did you not get a visa or did you not get along with Rakhi?" quipped Bharti. "I had made a film called Punjab Nahi Jaungi. It became successful and I became greedy. So I decided to make another film called London Nahi Jaunga," Humayun replied.

Bharti went on to express her wish to visit Pakistan some day to get a taste of Pakistani food. She then asked Humayun to never say "London nahi jaunga" again. Humayun replied, "Men tou India bhi jaunga," to which the crowd cheered.

Hamayun, who can be spotted in The Crown's current season playing Dr Hasnat Khan, also told Gulf News that he felt incredible to be in Dubai and that "it was a big honour to be a part of The Crown and I am keen to do different kinds of roles. Art has no boundaries."

The evening saw several other Bollywood bigwigs, including Govinda, Nargis Fakhri, Shehnaaz Gill, Tejasswi Prakash, Manushi Chhillar, Vaani Kapoor, Sunny Leone, Hema Malini, Maniesh Paul, Rakhi Sawant, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kanika Kapoor, Sharvari Wagh, Ayushmann Khurrana among others.
