WHO to establish vaccination centres in Balochistan

QUETTA:

World Health Organization (WHO) Country Head for Pakistan, Dr Palitha Mahiphala, has said that WHO will help establish vaccination centers across Balochsitan.

He said that CT Scan machines, ambulance, and motorcycles for health workers will also be provided

He added that WHO will continue to provide full support to Balochistan government to help control epidemics in flood-affected areas.

Dr Palitha expressed these views during a meeting with the Chief Minister, Mir Abdul Quddoos Bizenjo.

Chief Secretary Abdul Aziz Uqaili and Health Secretary Hafiz Tahir were also present at the meeting.

The WHO acknowledges the services of the Balochistan government for providing assistance and health facilities to the flood-affected people.
