Sohai Ali Abro reveals embracing motherhood, shares pictures of baby girl

While the actor didn't make an announcement earlier, Abro revealed welcoming first child while wishing her better half

Actor Sohai Ali Abro and cricketer Shehzar Mohammad, son of former Test player Shoaib Mohammad, are now parents to a baby girl. While the Motorcycle Girl actor hadn't made an announcement of welcoming a baby before, she revealed the same when she wished her better half on Instagram. 

Sharing a montage on social media, the actor penned a heartfelt caption. "Happy happy birthday Daddy cool!" she wrote. "Thanks to you everything in our life got a lot sweeter and true happiness found us. Mama bear and baby bear love you wayyy too much."

The couple tied the knot in March last year. Pictures of the star, who had been missing from our television screens of late, appeared on social media and left everyone surprised. Abro opted for a traditional gold and white bridal ensemble on the auspicious occasion. The groom, on the other hand, looked dapper in a gold and white sherwani to complement Abro’s look.

Mohammad, who is the grandson of legendary cricketer Hanif Mohammad, was all smiles in a turban next to his celebrity bride. Fans and well-wishers also extended their heartfelt regards to the couple for beginning a new journey together.

Many showbiz and sports celebrities attended the event and wished the newlyweds a happy married life on Instagram. Taking to his social media, renowned actor Humayun Saeed, who also attended the wedding, shared a photo with the bride and groom and wrote, “Many congratulations to Sohai and Shehzar. May Allah bless you both with lots and lots of happiness, prosperity and a lifetime of togetherness.”

Abro was last seen in Prem Gali, a romantic comedy television series opposite Farhan Saeed. Written by Faiza Iftikhar and directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, the serial was produced by Humayun Saeed under Six Sigma Plus. Prior to this, she starred in Motorcycle Girl, a 2018 Pakistani biographical adventure drama film based on the life of motorcyclist Zenith Irfan.
