Two young bikers die in road crash

The bodies of 15-year-old Hanan, 12-year-old-Ahmed, and the injured Habib, 16, were shifted to the Civil Hospital

Two young motorcyclists died while the third got injured as their motorcycle slipped between Numaish Roundabout and Guru Mandir area on Sunday.

The bodies of 15-year-old Hanan, 12-year-old-Ahmed, and the injured Habib, 16, were shifted to the Civil Hospital.

The passersby told police that two men on a bike kicked the motorcycle of the victims. Consequently, their motorcycle slipped on the road while the two teenage boys' heads bumped into the pole. The two boys suffered critical injuries.

On information, rescue workers reached the spot and shifted the boys to the hospital, where doctors pronounced Ahmed and Hanan dead.

Deceaseds' neighbour, Abdul Sami, told the Express Tribune that the deceased boys were cousins.

Abdul Sami said that Ahmed had come to Hanan's house in the evening. Before leaving the house, the boys had told the family that they were going to have tea with the other boys in the locality.

The Police handed over the dead bodies to the family after the legal procedure and medical formalities while the injured Habib in the Hospital is out of danger now.

The police were investigating the matter with the help of CCTV footage to figure out how the incident took place or if someone was responsible for this tragedy.
