Two groups clash over illegal business of scorpion

Clash took place between the two groups over a money transaction involving illegal sale/purchase of scorpions

A senior police officer of Badin on Wednesday took notice of a violent clash between two groups over the illegal business of scorpions. Police registered five cases against the two groups, made three arrests, and impounded weapons and a vehicle.

The police action came after the news of the clash between the Jamali community and scorpion traders at Sacho Athlo, on the suburbs of Tando Bahgo, went viral on social media. SSP Badin Shahnawaz Chachar took notice and ordered police to register cases against both groups.

Soon after, Tando Bago police registered five separate cases and arrested Ajab Gopang, Azizur Rehman Bangash, and Muhammad Saleh Gopang, all residents of Khairpur, and recovered weapons and a vehicle used in the incident. Meanwhile, police also registered a case and arrested Mehar Jamali, Bhandu Jamali, Isra Shah, and Nadeem Bajwa, all from Jamali community who were injured in the fight.

According to SHO Fayyaz Ahmed, the clash took place between the two groups over a money transaction involving illegal sale/purchase of scorpions.
