Some powers hold strings of present government: Haleem
Leader of Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Shaikh said that those who want to increase their stature, they start criticising Imran Khan. The former prime minister is a great leader, and these puppets are using foul language to gain favour of corrupt rulers, he said, adding that Imran Khan lives in the hearts of the entire nation. He was targeted to be assassinated the same way the plan was made for Benazir Bhutto.
Haleem said that PTI's long march is resuming on Thursday, and when the march reaches Pindi, it will see participation by people from across the country.
Haleem said that the present system is corrupt, the government is being run by some other powers.
FIR on assassination attempt on PTI chief has not been registered. The suspect detained is just a parrot, he said, urging that IG Punjab should also be included in the investigation of the assassination case.
Shaikh further said that the Local Government Act was against Article 140 of the Constitution, and the PTI protested against it.
He said that 6,000 cops from Sindh police were sent to Islamabad at a time when bandit rule Karachi and other parts of Sindh, police officers are being martyred, and the law and order situation is terrible.
Haleem said that when the health department employees were protesting for their rights, they were tortured and subjected to baton charges, which he strongly condemned.
He said that Imran Khan will visit Sindh as soon as the election date is announced.
Speaking at the press conference, Member of Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that local government elections and by-elections were schedule to be held simultaneously, but PPP and MQM conspired to postpone LG polls.

Naqvi claimed that there is no democracy in Sindh as the provincial assembly hardly functioned for 100 days during the past year while no session has taken place after the budget.
Member of Sindh Assembly Bilal Ghaffar said despite their government, the killers of Benazir Bhutto have not been caught.
Zardari criticized state institutions, but no action has been taken against him.
Ghaffar said Saeed Ghani is a chronic patient with a lack of intellect and shame. Where was Ghani when Asif Zardari criticising the institutions.
