FGEHA to auction land for construction of five-star hotel

The authority has also recommended constructing a second 40-feet-wide loop to improve traffic flow

The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has decided to auction a portion of its land for the construction of a five-star hotel.

A top-notch hotel will be built on government land in Sector G-13 of the federal capital. According to information obtained by The Express Tribune, it has been decided to construct a five-star hotel on the land owned by the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority in Sector G-13. Over 21 kanals of land in Mawariya, G-13, are owned by the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority, a division of the Ministry of Housing and Works.

The authority decided to auction the land to generate its revenue. Along with the five-star hotel, the authority has also recommended constructing a second 40-feet-wide loop to improve traffic flow, making the location easily accessible.

The plot will be auctioned at the highest price possible through an international auction.  The hotel is planned to be built on an official plot in the developed area of the housing authority.
