Father of 10-year-old victim seeks legal action against accused

Sadiqbad police arrested a school teacher for allegedly attempting to rape a third grade female student.

According to the police, the girl’s father said in his report that his son and daughter were studying at the Government School Agricultural Farm.

When his 10-year-old daughter got home from school, she disclosed that her school teacher, Javed, attempted to molest her in the washroom and threatened to murder her if she told anyone. At this, she started crying loudly, prompting him to leave.

The complainant said Javed brutally mistreated his daughter. Legal action should be taken against him for dispensation of justice.

SP Rawal Babar Javed Joya said a case was registered, and the accused was arrested. Further investigation was underway.

Meanwhile, in another incident, two women were allegedly raped in two different incidents in the garrison city. The police registered cases and started the investigation after receiving the complaints.

A victim told Wah Cant police that she was in her house when there was a knock at the door and as she opened the door a young boy, Taha, who is the son of her friend Farzana, forcefully entered the house. She further stated that the suspect was accompanied by an unknown person. She alleged that Taha took out a pistol and raped her and ran away with his partner while issuing threats to her.

In another incident, a woman told the Kotli Satian police that she lived with her brother and elderly father. When her brother left the house for work and she was sleeping in her room then all of a sudden a resident of her village namely Shakeel entered her rope and raped her. She said she yelled but as her father was hard of hearing could not come to her help and the accused fled away.

Police have registered the cases and started an investigation.
