Iranian citizens caught travelling on forged passport

Duo was all set to board an international flight for Sharjah on fake Pakistani passports

KARACHI:

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday arrested two Iranian citizens from the Jinnah International Airport Karachi during the immigration process.

According to Express News, the duo was all set to board an international flight for Sharjah on fake Pakistani passports.

The FIA sources revealed that the Iranian citizens identified as Muhammad Ali and Abdul Samad were travelling on passport numbers MA1833501 and AQ5271791 respectively.

They were also in possession of all the required Pakistani identification documents.

The sources further said that according to the forged documentation, Muhammad Ali belonged to Balochistan’s district Kech whereas Abdul Samad belonged to district Awaran.

Both Iranian citizens have been taken into custody and further investigation is in process. Last week an Iranian national was also caught with a Pakistani passport.
